Grape ape!

Go ape for the grape and get some seriously potent antioxidant action.

Ingredients:
500 g (1 lb 2 oz) red seedless grapes
10 apricots, stones removed
4 pears, stalks removed
3 apples, stalks removed

Method:
Juice the grapes, apricots, pears and apples through a juice extractor. Stir to combine. Make 2 large glasses.

Watermelon, grape and peach juice

The ultimate thirst quencher, watermelon makes a satisfying base for this piquant cooler.

Ingredients:
800 g (4 cups) chopped watermelon
500 g (1 lb 2 oz) green or red seedless grapes
4 peaches, stones removed
1 large passion fruit, halved

Method:
Juice the watermelon, grapes and peaches through a juice extractor. Scoop out the passion fruit pulp and stir through the juice. Make 2 large glasses.

Peach and rockmelon juice

Thick and smooth, this drink gently nudges mind and body into the new day.

Ingredients:
4 peaches
½ rockmelon (cantaloupe), peeled, seeded and chopped
600 ml orange juice
1 tablespoon lime juice
12 ice cubes

Method:
Cut a cross in the base of the peaches. Put them in a heatproof bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave for 1-2 minutes, then remove with a slotted spoon and plunge into cold water. Remove the skin and stones, and chop the flesh into bite-size pieces. Blend the peaches, rockmelon, orange juice and ice cubes in a blender until smooth. If the juice is too thick, add a little iced water. Stir through the lime juice. Make 2 large glasses.

Summer orange

An extravaganza of succulent stone fruit, tempered with the refreshing tang of oranges. 

Ingredients:
3 oranges, peeled
5 small plums, stones removed
4 peaches, stones removed
10 apricots, stones removed

Method:
Juice the oranges, plums, peaches and apricots through a juice extractor. Stir to combine. Make 2 large glasses. 

Summer detox

Buff up for the beach with a nutrient-heavy detox draught.

Ingredients:
2 peaches
3 oranges, peeled
250 g (9 oz) strawberries, hulled
300 g (10 ½ oz) red seedless grapes

Method:

Mix cherries with berries for a sensory overload and leave it up to the apples to add a note of calm.
Ingredients:
150 g (5 ½ oz) blueberries
200 g (1 cup) cherries, pitted
6 apples, stalks removed
ice cubes, to serve

Method:
Juice the blueberries, cherries and apples through a juice extractor. Stir to combine and serve over ice. Make 2 medium glasses.

Blood orange fruit burst

Transport yourself to Sicily, the home of the best blood oranges, with this deeply flavorsome juice.
Ingredients:
250 g (9 oz) strawberries, hulled
10 apricots, stones removed
250 g (9 oz) lychees, peeled and seeded
375 ml (1 ½ cups) blood orange juice
ice cubes, to serve

Method:
Juice the strawberries, apricots and lychees through a juice extractor. Stir through the blood orange juice and serve over ice. Make 2 large glasses.

Nectarine, grape and strawberry juice

A sweet combination that’s picture perfect for a couple of sweethearts to share.

6 nectarines, stones removed
500 g (1 lb 2 oz) green grapes
250 g (9 oz) strawberries, hulled

Apple, berry and cherry juice

Apple, berry, cherry… let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start!
Ingredients:
6 apples, stalks removed
150 g (5 ½ oz) raspberries
400 g (2 cups) cherries, pitted
ice cubes, to serve

Method:
Juice the apples, raspberries and cherries through a juice extractor. Stir to combine and serve over ice. Make 2 large glasses.

Cherry, black grape and apple juice

Life’s a bowl of cherries so juice them up and forget about the pits.
Ingredients:
400 g (2 cups) cherries, pitted
500 g (1 lb 2 oz) black or green seedless grapes

250 ml (1 cup) cranberry juice
ice cubes, to serve

Note: Freeze the juice in ice-block trays for a refreshing treat.

1 small pineapple, peeled and chopped
4 pears, stalks removed
250 ml (1 cup) guava juice
ice cubes, to serve

Method:
Juice the pineapple and pears through a juice extractor. Stir through the guava juice and serve over ice. Make 2 large glasses.

Note: For a smoother juice, try cutting out the woody heart of the pineapple.

Morning blended fruit juice

If it’s all been a bit of a blur so far, let this tangy blend set you straight.
Ingredients:
½ pineapple, peeled and chopped
1 large pear, stalk removed
1 banana, chopped
40 g (1 ½ oz) chopped pawpaw or papaya
375 ml (1 ½ cups) orange juice

Method:
Blend the pineapple, pear, banana, pawpaw or papaya and orange juice in a blender until smooth. Make 4 medium glasses.

Perfumed nectarine

Let exquisitely perfumed lychees clear out a fuzzy morning head.
Ingredients:
6 large nectarines, stones removed
4 peaches, stones removed
250 g (9 oz) lychees, peeled and seeded

Method:
Juice the nectarines, peaches and lychees through a juice extractor. Stir to combine. Make 2 large glasses.
