Papaya and orange smoothie

Get to know your papayas: choose heavy, yellowy-orange ones with soft, fragrant flesh.
Ingredients:
1 papaya, peeled, seeded and chopped
1 orange, peeled and chopped
6-8 ice cubes
200 g (7 oz) natural yoghurt
1-2 teaspoons caster (superfine) sugar
ground nutmeg, to serve

Method:
Blend the papaya, orange and ice cubes in a blender until smooth. Add the yoghurt and blend to combine. Add the sugar, to taste. Serve sprinkled with nutmeg. Make 2 medium glasses.

Note: This keeps well for 6 hours in the fridge. Peach or apricot flavoured yoghurt may be used for added flavor.
